Farm Tours on Sept 1st (the 10K diet is alive and well on Salt Spring Island), the amazing Fall Fair weekend is on Sept 14/15, and on Sept 27/28 it's the fantastic Sip & Savour event. 35 wineries are taking part, including the three award winning vineyards on Salt Spring Island.
We are lucky here to have superb restaurants, and these talented chefs are taking local produce and creating both winemakers dinners and tasting stations at the grazing event.
Winemakers dinners are on the Friday evening. Saturday morning is the famed Saturday Market in the Park. Saturday afternoon, 1 to 4 p.m., is the grazing event. Saturday evening: Cuban music, a special dinner, a dine and dance experience, plus the annual Apple Fest on the Sunday.
It's a WOW time to visit, and a great event to turn up for.
Arrive by your own boat, catch a floatplane, arrive by ferry...lots of choices. You'll be glad you did!
